Get out and Perform
There are 3 current performance groups under YOA. These groups go out to perform in the Yuma community to promote and add live orchestra music to the Yuma cultural community. These groups consist of the Yuma Civic Orchestra, the Yuma Civic Light Orchestra, and the YOA String Ambassadors.
How to Register
Step 1: Call YOA to determine what level you or your student qualifies for (928) 487-1644.
Step 2: Call AWC Continuing Education to register and pay enrollment fee (928) 317-7674, or click here to register online.
Step 3: Bring cash/check/credit card (payable to YOA) on 1st day of class to purchase required materials.
String Ambassadors
The String Ambassadors class is for the highly motivated 7th-12th grade student who doesn't mind having a busy performing schedule.
Civic Light
The Civic Light Orchestra is currently a class that expands the intermediate player’s technique and knowledge of music.
Civic Orchestra
The Yuma Civic Orchestra is a chamber orchestra for the Advanced Musician playing University level repertoire.
